It was very enlightening to get some idea of the huge Bach clan and to hear some “new” Bach. The ‘Jauchzet Gott’ concert was the highlight for my Russian visitor and me – the choir so well balanced and on top form. Brilliant soloists and orchestral playing.

I much enjoyed the Friday concert but found the Saturday concert absorbing, thrilling and sometimes deeply moving.  On that evening you pulled together an event that was marvelous in scope and presentation - and the sounds the orchestra produced n the symphony before 'Wir danken dir' were just beautiful.
